In 2000 I graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas. In 2003, I graduated from Lamar State College-Orange with an Associate degree in Business. Then in 2016 I earned a Bachelor degree from Lamar University.
I began teaching Kindergarten at Kountze Elementary School in November 2017 and beginning in 2018 I became a teacher in the Gifted and Talented Robotics program at KES.
Prior to teaching, the majority of my career was in administrative support in higher education. I worked at Lamar University as well as Sam Houston State University from 2003-2017.
My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 16 years and we have one son, Gatlin. Gatlin is in the second grade at KES. We have two dogs, Kodiak & Daisy, and two cats, JuneBug & Maddie.
Some of my favorite things are: spending time with my family, fishing, baseball, football, and attending local sporting and fine arts events.
